At the top of the Robin range is now a single engine 'Grand Tourer' offering a combination of performance and comfort in its category. Power and reliability comes from the fuel injected 200hp IO-360 Textron-Lycoming engine, coupled to a Hartzell constant speed prop: shorter take-off performance, even at full load, and a quieter cruise.

The 200i President is equipped as standard with four fuel tanks totalling 275 litres. It is capable of flights of more than 1000NM and attains a max cruising speed of up to 145 kts at 75%, depending on load and altitude.

Travel in 1st class, both for pilots and passengers of any size: the cabin has been generously enlarged in width and height from the standard 400 range: for example, 10cm wider at elbow level and 10cm higher above both front and rear seats. It feels spacious to be in, and to fly.

The refined interior combines leather and fabrics with high quality carpeting. The rear bench seat is wide enough for 2 adults or 3 children to sit comfortably. Strong sound-proofing, efficient 4-place ventilation, and the extraordinary panoramic visibility which is typical of this range of aircraft, all contribute to flight comfort.

Clear and functional in layout, the large instrument panel was designed from the beginning to incorporate full IFR equipment, plus GPS and autopilot.

At the top of the panel is a glare shield, designed to maximise forward visibility. An electric flaps control system, with a three position lever at the instrument panel, and an electric rudder trim are part of the standard.

Practical aspects have not been forgotten: both pilots can easily access all controls. There are two side map pockets and a convenient shelf in the panel. For rear seat passengers, pockets in the backs of the front seats and side pockets. The luggage compartment is spacious and unobstructed, with its own lockable door.

The buyer of a Robin President can select his own internal leather/fabric colours and his own external colour scheme and in effect orders a custom built aircraft.
