Like Calais-Marck, Le Touquet is a great gateway to France and a super venu in its own right. An 1,850 metre tarmac runway, a very good restaurant on site, customs and immigration requiring only two hours notice, and the town with its shops and its extensive beaches. The sea front is less than two miles from the airport entrance.
Bicycles can be hired from the terminal.
At €36 for our 1,100 Kg Robin DR400 in October 2022, this is one of the more expensive regional French airports to visit, but the attractions do compensate.
