Garmin GTN Xi approval
The GTN 750Xi and GTN 650Xi are approved for installation in the DR400 series under minor change 10073100.
The new Garmin units have faster processors and higher resolution screens than their predecessors allowing quicker scrolling and greater clarity.
Both units use the same panel space as the previous GTN versions.
Whilst the GTN 750 has a larger panel cut-out than the GNS 530, the GTN 650Xi uses the same cut-out as the GNS 430 making for a relatively easy upgrade from this earlier navigator under EASA STC 10037574.
